Details from briefing of guides cookie sales:
1. Stay in the area - do not be too spreaded out. Walking alone or in pairs to sell cookies is fine, but must have at least 4 Guides on duty at any time, no less.
2. Arrive punctually. Attire: Full Guides Uniform
3. Only give plastic bags if customers needs/requests. Plastic bags will be provided by NTUC.
4. Give samples but not too many. 1 cookie = 15 samples.
5. All the cash notes must be in order (facing the same way).
6. It is possible to get more cash - some people may say "keep the change".
7. Some ppl may want receipts.
8. Prepare small change in notes.
9. Assign jobs (only one person can handle cash - take care of the money box).
10. Some customers may not speak English.
11. Go to customer service for the manager of the supermarket.
12. Guider should be present the whole day.
13. If they ask, "What is the money used for?"
