We are pleased to inform you that the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) is organising the "1 Year To Go to the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games" event on Friday, 14 August 2009, to mark exactly 365 days to the S2010 YOG. The event aims to generate international awareness, raise anticipation levels and rally everyone in Singapore to come together and celebrate, as we look forward to hosting the inaugural YOG in August 2010.
There will be an evening celebration at the City Hall which will be preceded by a sports carnival on the Padang. The carnival will commence at about 1730 hrs. The highlight of the evening celebrations will be the unveiling of the Omega-sponsored countdown clock at City Hall, followed by the countdown to D-365:00:00 at 2010 hrs.> GGS is privileged to support S2010 YOG. SYOGOC would like as many people to come go down to the event and be part of the celebrations.
