Here are the details for this Saturday’s (23 may 2009) enrolment ceremony and BBQ at Pasir Ris Park:
Sec 1s are to meet at Forum (Ave 2) at 8 am to take arranged transport to Pasir Ris Park. Sec 2 – 4s are to meet at Pasir Ris Park Area 3, BBQ pit #39-42(near carpark D) and be prepared to fall in at 9 am. After dismissal, Sec 1s will take arranged transport back to school and be dismissed from there. Sec 2 – 4s are expected to make their own way home.
Please note that you are required to wear your FULL GUIDE UNIFORM to Pasir Ris Park and please be properly attired. Remember to have your enrolment badge polished! You are allowed to bring your company tee/ patrol tee/guides PT shirt/ PE shirt to change into for the BBQ after the enrolment ceremony but NO home clothes are allowed.
Program
9.00 – 9.10 am: Fall in
9.10 – 9.45 am: Enrolment Ceremony
9.45 – 10.00 am: Gift presentation to Sec 1s
10.00 am – 12.15 pm: Barbeque!
12.15 – 1.00 pm: Clean up, Taps
1.00 pm: Dismiss!
Food and drinks
Expenses for food and drinks will be borne by the Guides. The budget is $3 per girl. The food for the barbeque MUST include 1 carbo (eg: fried rice, fried bee hoon, garlic bread), 1 meat (marinated first!) and 1 vege/fruit (eg: fruit salad, vegetable salad, corn). The patrols sharing 1 barbeque pit can choose to combine their money and buy the food together. The patrols must also buy their own wire mesh for the barbeque pit.
Gift Expenses
The budget for gifts for Sec 1s is $10 per Sec 1 girl. The gift expenses will be borne by the Sec 2 – 4s in the patrol.

BBQ pit 39: bougainvillea (9), Flowerpecker (9), swallow (9) and morning glory(10) [total: 37]
BBQ pit 40: Hibiscus (11), Ixora (10), Orchid (9) and kingfisher (9) [total: 39]
BBQ pit 41: Jasmine (9), Sunflower (11), and Oriole (10) [total: 30]
BBQ pit 42: Dove (11), Mynah (11)and Sparrow (11) [total:33]
