1. Skit Competition “The life of a leader”Put up a 3 min skit about any female leader that has touched the lives of many people
Judging:Judged at the preliminary rounds during the 18th to 25th August
The top three groups will be informed by 26th August

2. PerformanceThe performance item will be your own rendition of EITHER:
a. Geylang Si Paku Geylang
b. The more we get together
Encouraged to use instruments (not musical instruments) made from everyday items
Judging:Judged at the preliminary rounds during the 18th to 25th August

3. Invitation Card DesignDesign an invitation card for North Division Campfire 2009 with the theme : “Saving Gaia” within two hours using given materials
Judging:Judged on the day itself

4. Souvenir DesignThe Guides are to –
a. Design a souvenir for North Division Campfire 2009 with the theme : “Saving Gaia” (aka an environmental theme about Saving the Earth)
b. The souvenir MUST be made from recycled materials only
c. Submit a simple write up (on A3 laminated paper) on the use of materials and the meaning behind the symbolism or design
Judging:Judged on the day itself
Important dates: Submission of designs : 25th August 2008 by 5 p.m.
Venue for submission : Girl Guides HQ
